Boring Bookkeepers is owned by Kathryn Althauser, an Ohio native who settled back home to raise her family after living in Kansas, California, and Georgia. Married to her husband Anthony since 2013, Kathryn is mom to twin daughters Ayla and Ailee, born in 2019. She brings a background of service—from gymnastics instructor to nanny to hairdresser—before finding her calling in bookkeeping.

Kathryn and Anthony have started two companies together, Pokemoto Atl and Up & Up Weddings, so she's seen firsthand the power of accurate reporting and staying ahead of tax season. That experience drives her mission: helping small businesses get organized, save time, and make better financial decisions.
